Document Name: Aggregate Accounting Record Document ID: doc13709 Description: This document recommends representation format for aggregate usage record that encapsulates high-level view information for different accounting user agents. Extending from GGF-UR, the aggregate schema is to facilitate common extensibility for data sharing between multiple sites and Grid infrastructures. Some element names are redefined from GGF-UR standard for usage conventions in real Grid environment. Although this document does not intend to recommend the usage of an aggregate usage record and underlying transport mechanism, it is proposed to facilitate resource usage service based on implementation experiences and potential issues Version Comment: Based on recent implementation of LCG-RUS accounting sytem, we realised that it is important to have a generic representation of accounting records in summary format. In LCG-RUS v0.0 the aggregate schema is based on existing LCG summary schema, which is not good enough to provides uniformness and multiGrid accounting purpose. Thus, we provides an aggregate accounting record schema (draft). And aggregate Resource Usage Service standard is coming soon aiming at provides interaction with RUS job-level accounting serivce.
