• Propose requirement with title  'In order to prevent overloading the Execution Service (which has performance requirements for Activity Management), the Logging and Bookkeeping functionality SHOULD be separated from the Execution Service'

• This means that a separate Logging and Bookkeeping Service should consolidate Activity logs at the grid level from all other grid services for log persistence, and provide a robust and consistent Logging and Bookkeeping functionality to grid clients
• This is a simple consequence of NF13 and the whole list of requirements concerning Logging and Bookkeeping, in particular persistence required by LB1 and complex queries required by LB6 and LB7
• This does NOT forbid the Execution Service and/or the Information Service to directly provide the functionality to return a (vector of) Activity Status when queried with a (vector of) not yet finished Activity IDs
• Therefore, I strongly vote FOR this requirement
