This is an excellent start.
I have uploaded a slightly edited draft (in RTF format for editor software interop!) that includes the TeraGrid data overview in the list at the end
( http://www.teragrid.org/userinfo/guide_data.html )
In TeraGrid we have dedicated GridFTP servers so that users can physically stripe very large bulk transfers. Are others doing this, or ie everyone
just assuming that the speed of single interfaces is sufficient?
For the purposes of the Athens discussion, I would keep long-term future things (like Grid filesystems) off the table and focus on the near term
things we can do in 2006.
