Projects using the DAIS-WG Specifications

The following is a list of some of the projects using the DAIS-WG specifications.

OGSA-DAI

OGSA-DAI is an open-source distributed data access and integration product managed by EPPC at the University of Edinburgh. OGSA-DAI-based implementations of WS-DAIR and WS-DAIX are currently available and can be downloaded via http://www.ogsadai.org.uk/downloads.

ADMIRE (Advanced Data Mining and Integration Research for Europe)

ADMIRE, a distributed data mining and integration project involving several European collaborating institutes, utilises WS-DAI-RDF to facilitate metadata access, as described in the WS-DAI-RDF Motivational Document. The Ontology Engineering Group at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), a participant in the ADMIRE project, have played a major role in the development of WS-DAI-RDF and are overseeing the adoption the specifications within the ADMIRE framework.

AIST's Database Grid

The Database Grid group at the Japanese National Institute of Advanced Science and Technology (AIST) is currently developing an implementation of the WS-DAI-RDF querying specification as part of its OGSA-DAI-RDF project.

AMGA

AMGA, the metadata catalgue of EGEE's gLite middleware, has implemented WS-DAIR interfaces supporting its metadata query language, as described in these slides presented at OGF 23.
