• Propose requirement with title  'Single global namespace for resources of all kind (storage devices, compute device), for example: a path mechanism - 'address the same things everywhere'.  Definitely not XML namespaces - more identification of resources.  Closest analogy might be DNS.'

• I guess that the primary goal is 'Practical Client Interface'.
• I guess that the implementation goal is to use OGF RNS (Resource Namespace Service), which provides a basic directory service, mapping strings (paths) to WS-Addressing EPRs.  RNS has functions to list, insert, and delete entries.
• Am I right ?  Please elaborate.
