• Propose requirement with title  'In order to permit efficient Accounting, a grid infrastructure MUST provide an Accounting functionality (without real time requirements) which consolidates Accounting records at the grid level from various systems, securely keeps Accounting records even after Activities have finished, implements complex accounting queries, and supports the corresponding CPU load'

• Accounting really requires medium term persistence of Accounting records of Activities, even already finished
• Persistence of Accounting records MUST be secured, but retrieval of Accounting records or complex queries do NOT have to be very quick
  (If Accounting information not available immediately for any reason, it still can be retrieved later as soon as Accounting records are secured)
• The requirement means that this medium term Accounting functionality MUST be provided by grid infrastructures
• Therefore, this requirement is NOT likely to be achievable by a grid services (such as the Execution Service) managing transient entities
• Nevertheless, I vote FOR this requirement
