• A user might need to manage the life cycle of the his own activities (i.e. jobs). A way to do it is to associate one or more activities to a specific delegation certificate. So, whenever the certificate expires, all associated activities will be terminated.
• For managing different life cycles, delegation certificates having different expiration times are needed.
• A user can extend the life of his activities simply by renewing the associated delegation certificate.

  'The Execution Service SHOULD permit Clients to create delegation credentials (X509 proxy, SAML assertions, ...), and to associate an Activity to a specific delegation credential.
