Notes

Roman notes that the Geant project should be acting (soon) on circuit monitoring. This is supposed to be an important project, so he believes they will accept the report and spawn an activity.

Aaron notes no real news on our end. ESnet/Internet2 will deploy the code (still in testing) when OSCARS 0.6 is released. DYNES sites (NSF funding) will deploy as well. Will be giving a talk at JTs about this.

Roman inquires about a paper discussing circuit monitoring. Jason notes Grid2011 is coming soon, may be a good venue. Jason will ask internally. Would be good to have real results to show - so either this conference (Sept) or something later this year or next.

Jason hopes to make some progress on the base document before OGF. Will share thoughts to list. Roman will be attending Fri -> Tues, Jason the same. Freek won't be there as long. Not sure what to present in the sessions, Jason can present Aaron's work on Circuit monitoring. Roman will think about something to present from Geant.

SC11 coming soon, no real measurement plans yet. Aaron will be running the SCinet measurement team, may be able to do something new. There may be some SC demo with Geant, no real plans yet but Jason remembers hearing something.
