Template for Use Cases

This is the template to be used to describe use cases for GLUE 2.

• N progressive number for identifying use cases
  • Presented by: the project names that have presented this use cases
  • Scenario: "the scenario in which this use case applies;
    • example of scenario are:
      • resource selection for job submission
      • service and resource discovery
      • resource provider advertising
  • Short Description: a short description of one or two line describing the use case; the use case should be simple, i.e. it should potentially imply the addition of one or two attributes in the schema;
  • Actors: roles involved in the use case, e.g.:
    • end-user
    • grid operator
    • site administrator
    • VO manager
  • Conversation: sentences that help the understanding and disambiguation of the use case
  • Acceptance Test:
    • simple tests against which it is possible to write code for schema checking
