Artifact artf2669 : (927) Should GetUpdateCount(N) be discarded?
Tracker: WS-DAIR issues
Title: (927) Should GetUpdateCount(N) be discarded?
Description:
The purpose of GetUpdateCount(N) (using an index), when
all update counts could be returned more efficiently in one
SOAP message, is to preserve the interleavement of result
sets and update counts in a statement after execution of the
associated SQL - as implied/specified by JDBC.

Does this benefit justify the need for this operation? As it happens, the db2 and mysql database drivers don't appear to
support the getUpdateCount() method - though more experimentation may be required..
