We'll restart the INFOD calls after GGF12 on Thursday 14 October at 9am pacific - noon in New York - 5pm in the UK

Minutes from 14 Oct 2004 INFOD call

* Follow up items from GGF sessions including:
work on use cases paper (Steve and Susan)
Creating and sending bills, Replication, RFID (Dieter)
Dieter should work with Bruce Barkstrom to complete the template
Chris will provide the magazine example
Dieter will do the RFID one
Susan will add the DAIS 3rd party delivery use case

We plan to have a new use case doc by Christmas. Steve requested that the
document should explain which parts of each use case were covered by INFOD

* will start spec review:
first overall arch (Shailendra)

* Need draft doc on policies for publishers/recipients (Cecile)

* Steve will review and publish ggf12 minutes

* Dieter will bring Bruce Barkstrom from NASA Long Beach into the group

* need to work on DAIS inter-relation: auditing and tracking, 3d party delivery

* Work on OGSA data (data movement, etc) and OGSA information
Susan will e-mail Malcolm about INFOD and Data Movement

* Abdeslem suggested that OGSA info will probably move towards something
on top of WS reliable messaging and notification. Currently
notification is built on top of WSRF. This is expected to
change. Abdeslem is hoping for input for the OGSA version 2 document -
and will try to keep OGSA INFO and INFOD in sync.

* New item: need WS-N vs INFO-D use case comparisons want to
try to get this ready by WS-N meeting in two weeks at
HP in Cupertino.

Susan will try to set up a side meeting at WS-N/Oasis to discuss.

* Draft response for DAIS/INFOD relationship from Susan - all
are in agreement, she will post to DAIS/INFOD.

AOB? Vijay asked if we were planning to build a prototype, and
response was non-commital. There is some earlier work
done at Oracle that doesn't match the current API and might
be updated.

Next call 10/28. Overlaps with Oasis meeting. Agenda to be:

- discuss Abdeslem's message
