With support from Data AD's (Malcolm & David), this document was approved for publication, and moved into final Editor Review on 29 August, 2006.

Status changed from Final 15day GFSG Review to Final Editor Review

  Comment:
Due to light attendance at the GFSG telecon, this
will remain open for a 7-day email list "final call"
for the GFSG. Barring concerns, it will then be
approved for a final editor check and publication.

  Comment:
All three DAIS-WG specifications have just been uploaded subsequent to the changes made during public comment. The same process has been followed in
all cases:

1. A proposal was made as to the changes required from public comment (where comments were made).

2. The documents were changed directly, and all issues of substance were logged as trackers in the DAIS-WG documentt space.

3. A message was sent to the list pointing people to the trackers.

4. The issues were discussed and resolved in the list, the trackers closed, and the documents updated.

As such, if there is interest in the specific issues discussed, these can be seen through the trackers.
  Action: Update

  Comment:
We have revised the document in the light of the public comments, following the proposal in:

https://forge.gridforum.org/sf/sfmain/do/downloadAttachment/projects.ggf-editor/tracker.submit_ggf_draft/artf3390?id=atch3494

In essence, a significant number of minor changes have been made that seek to clarify the specification, in a few cases tightening text that was
ambiguous. Some of these changes were responding to the public comments, and some additional comments were received offline.

Thanks, and sorry for the delay. Yes, please go ahead with
those changes. We're looking forward to the next/final
document. Work with your ADs as needed for this revision,
then upload and assign back to gbn for the next phase.

  Comment:
The attached note indicates how we propose to respond to the comments made during the public comment period. At the time of writing (2nd May 2006)
the public comment period has completed but the status has not changed on Gridforge. We are keen to clarify as soon as possible how to proceed from
here, especially as GGF17 starts in just over a week.

  Comment:
The issue is with the parent-sensitive to child and vice versa thing.
I expect the most common form of sensitivity is the "unknown" form i.e., where updates going on might or might not be visible within a row-set or by
way of an indirect data service. The current enums let you say that you will see them, or you won't see them, but not "you might see them".

Thanks for this submission. My initial Editor review
indicates this is ready for initial GFSG review, and
will be discussed in about 2 weeks. The next step
afterwards, assuming a positive GFSG review,
will be 60-day public comment.
