Title: Using Clouds to Provide Grids Higher-Levels of Abstraction and Explicit Support for Usage Modes
Description:
This is an informational document which describes Clouds as a natural evolutionary step from Grids, by analyzing
syntactic and semantic abstraction levels for distributed systems. The document contains an attempt to define the
components of the Cloud/Grid discussion, and further gives a number of suggestions for future OGF work.

Thanks, this looks good. GFSG doesn't do a "last call" on INFO documents, so we can go ahead and publish this as

GFD-I.148.

If you don't mind, please upload a new PDF with the GFD-I # filled in. The rest of the paper looks ready to go.

THANKS to authors/editors for work on this document.

Attached is a tgz of the revised paper. We have addressed all comments, and the doc underwent significant changes. We pinged back a several of the
comment sources and asked for clarifications, and for feedback on the changes, and are confident that we addressed the comments appropriately.

If I am not mistaken, the paper should be ready for GFSG final call.

Thanks, Andre.

The standards council discussed this at OGF25. Andre will follow up with status and readiness to proceed, within the next week or so.
