- I'm wondering if SPMDVariation can be a URI. This has come up in recent
discussions between some HPCP participants. If a URI is used, you can still
have "standard" MPIs defined in the spec (using the jsdl-spmd namespace),
but it's also easy to add custom types by just using another namespace. From
the implementer's point of view, they only need to do a string comparison,
rather than having to check if it's other, and then parse some xsd:any
content.
