I have reviewed this document and the comments received in the public comment period. Note also there is now a reference implementation of this 
specification - a strong indicator of interest. I recommend this document proceed to publication.

Here is the promised update for the JSIM Spec.  I regret that it has taken much longer than I promised to update the Spec, owing to delays within the 
DMTF, which was the source of the need to update the Spec in the first place.

This version is now blessed by the DMTF (according to Andrea Westerinen), and accordingly, is ready to re-enter public comment for perhaps a 30-day 
period.

The UML diagram has been updated, and consequently is back to using colored lines.  I personally do not think this is a problem that needs to be fixed
, as the color really has no major significance that a reader would be prevented from understanding the diagram.  However, that is my personal opinion
 only.

Adding minor changes to document before publication

For publication this document needs the following changes:

1. The "draft-info-cgs-jsim_spec.doc" string in the header on p.1 needs to be changed to the informational document series number.
2. The "DRAFT  Job Submission Information Model" header text on p.2 and after needs to have the "DRAFT -" removed.
3. The copyright notice on p.13 needs to match the copyright notice on p.1.

With these minor edits this document is ready for publication.

Stacey, the document to use is the one described as "2 December 2003". Note the docment itelf has a November 13 date. 

- All changes must be "accepted" in Word.
- The following text should be removed on  p3:
[EDITOR NOTE: we should assume B&W copies of this will be used in many cases.  I suggest rather than using color-coding it would be better to use line
 gauge and type (solid, dashed).]
- Will you re-name the file to something more appropriate?

Steve, I do not see an "Attach File" button below the comments box.  I see the list of Attached Files, of which there are two, I can download the 
files, but there is no Attach File button.  Is this is an issue that, since I am not a member of the GGF Editor project, I cannot attach files?

I have an updated draft that addresses the comment about use of color in the UML model.

How should I proceed to upload this?  It is based upon the copy-edited draft.
