- The Execution Service with Single Endpoint receives ALL Client requests.
- When necessary, it forwards them to the Execution Engine really managing the Activity.
- It receives ALL responses from the Execution Engine(s), and forwards them back to the Client.
- So, it is likely to be a bottleneck and a SPOF (Single Point Of Failure).
- But this is the only method permitting the Activity ID to be completely opaque.
