I would like to raise the issue to add "Parallel HTTP" as a supported protocol as is a suitable and compatible protocol
to ByteIO.
ATTENTION: Fujitsu Laboratories of Europe, Ltd. (FLE) has claimed intellectual property rights (IPR) on this technology.
Suitable licensing information according to the OGF IPR policy is currently prepared. However, due to the nature of the
ByteIO specification, FLE's IPR do not affect any implementor unless the implementor wishes to support "Parallel HTTP".
I have the following process in mind:
a) The ByteIO WG reserves the URI for Parallel HTTP in the main spec document, including a note on the claimed IPR.
b) A ParHTTP based profile will be published later in the WG or by other means(?)
The proposed process is mostly to not wanting to delay the specification any further towards PC. Do we need to check
that with the OGF people (AD etc.)?
