By publishing the obligations, commitments, and liabilities associated with the assertions it issues, potentially along with a public key associated
with the key used to sign those assertions - an authority can facilitate potential relying parties discovering this key, and making an informed and
appropriate decision as to whether the authority's assertions are relevant for their application, i.e. trust it.
This paper explores these issues and proposes a simple XML-based model for such 'trust metadata' advertisment. As such, it should be seen only as a
step towards a more full-featured and comprehensive model. Nevertheless I believe it is a worthwhile step and one appropriate for the Grid community
to take at this time.

Comment: |
Because there were zero public comments, I do not feel
comfortable that stakeholders in this document have studied
it, and support it. I urge the document authors and WG
members to enter public comments, and to seek others
to enter public comments, that support the readiness
of this document for publication.
Please email, or post a comment to this tracker, if you
think my impression is erroneous. I recognize that a
stricter outlook on the need for public comments is relatively
new for GGF, but believe it is well supported by the GFSG
and by our own GFD-1.
Thanks, and sorry for this additional delay.

This draft has completed the necessary steps prior to
being made available for public comment. Authors,
working group / research group chairs, and Area
Directors should encourage individuals to participate
in the public comment process and should announce
the public comment availability to appropriate
communities and groups.
Public comments can be viewed and submitted via
the GridForge Editor pages (see Forums) or:
http://www.ggf.org/documents
Public comments play an important part in the advancement
of a GGF draft and publication as a document in the
GGF document series.
An active public comment period strengthens the case
that the document is a useful and desired work product
for some community of consumers.

Sorry for taking so long to review this. It looks fine, and is ready for public comment. But please submit the document with "track changes" turned
off, and all changes accepted. The current document has Word's change tracker indicators throughout.
Also, minor comment: the Author Information, Intellectual Property Statement, Full Copyright Notice and References should all be main headers.
Once the new .doc is received, this will enter 30-day public comment period.
