Title: (1695) Workshop on Grid Applications: from Early Adopters to Mainstream Users
Description:
APPS-RG and PGS-RG

This is the proceedings of the workshop held at GGF14, including the
presented papers. That is why it is PDF.
I refer to GFD-39 where we already followed the same process (submission as PDF, and I can later edit the header pages
according to all incoming comments.)

Still, girdforge seems to have this silly file size restriction, so I cannot upload the file. Again as with GFD-39,
please take the file from my home page:
http://www.cs.vu.nl/~kielmann/ggf14-ws-proceedings.pdf.

Thanks, this looks good and will be published
as GFD-I.068. The authors did a nice job with
their contributed work for this workshop proceedings.

The supposedly final version with all problems addressed can be found at:

GridF*** still can not handle files of this size :-(

I had a closer look.
While it is impossible to get new versions of all papers from the authors, I think I can produce an overall PDF with the following properties:

- all bookmarks deleted (currently only in the Foster paper)
- no text overlap with headers/footers

I am afraid that is as good as I can get it.

Can I please get a GFD number assigned such that I can edit it into the doc?

Author/editor: please see the public comments here:
https://forge.gridforum.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=588

there is an important practical issue about organizing
the papers in the document. Is it feasible to have all
A4 or all letter-sized page layout?

Please respond in this tracker (or the public comment
tracker) and if desired upload a new document. Put a note
in this tracker & assign back to gbn when ready to proceed.

Sorry for my delay in responding. This document
looks good to me, and will be a fine addition to the
GGF document series. It's important for us to document
this type of workshop, and to provide ongoing access
to workshop papers. Thanks for assembling the submissions.

I did not see any changes to make, so will put it
into 30-day public comment -- 30 days from
when it's announced (over the next few days).
I hope that Joel will be able to upload the large
PDF to the public comment tracker. If not, we might
need to place it elsewhere temporarily, for download.

Dear Author or Draft Editor-

Thank you for submitting your draft to the GGF Editor! In most cases the draft
will be assigned to an Area Director for review as the first step in the document
publication process.

The URL provided with this note allows you to track your submission and to
communicate with the GGF Editor or Area Director(s) who are reviewing the
draft. At the very bottom of the tracker display (web page) a detailed log of all
actions related to this submission is available.

You may also wish to alert your colleagues that the draft has been submitted, and from their GridForge accounts they may wish to monitor this item in
order to receive email any time action is taken regarding this submission.

Informational and Experimental drafts are reviewed by the GGF Editor and one
or more Area Directors. The GGF Editor will determine whether the draft is
ready for public comment, or if there are items for the author(s) to address
prior to public comment. This initial review generally takes no more than two
weeks.

Community Practice and Recommendations Track drafts require a GFSG review
prior to public comment. This can add 2-3 weeks to the initial GGF Editor
review depending on current workload of the GFSG.

Please do not hesitate to inquire about the status of your submission at any time by way of comments added to this tracker item, which will be
automatically emailed to the individual who appears in the "assigned to" field.

Thanks very much-
GGF Editor
