Published on 2007-08-07 as GFD.108 (This had been pre-assigned a GFD number and should not be 112, as stated recently in the tracker).

I will still have to review it completely and provide my comments.
But at a quick glance, there are already a set of valid comments in the document, like missing references etc. I am not sure who made it, my Word
does not provide me with author information on these.
A simple scan of all comments already in the doc shows several open issues; nothing serious but obviously to be addressed before submitting.
I am not sure, but I would like to clarify whether the version that Stephen has uploaded to this tracker was indeed the latest version intended for
GFSG and public review.

The authors have updated the document, which has been through working group last call. The attached version is ready for review by Editor, AD and GFSG
review prior to proceeding to public comment as an OGF proposed recommendation.
It is highly desirable that passes through GFSG review quickly, so that the public comment period of this and the OGSA-HPC-Profile (which depends on
it) overlap.
I suggest Ramin Yahyapour be assigned as shepherd (AD reviewer), as I appear on the author list.

IMHO, this document needs minor editorial changes before it could go to public comment. These changes would need to be made by the authors (some
inconsistencies between figures and text). GFSG review has been extended to Tuesday 2nd May to allow this. At that point, a decision will be taken
whether to release the revised document to public comment or return the document to the authors.

Dear Author or Draft Editor-
Thank you for submitting your draft to the GGF Editor! In most cases the draft
will be assigned to an Area Director for review as the first step in the document
publication process.
The URL provided with this note allows you to track your submission and to
communicate with the GGF Editor or Area Director(s) who are reviewing the
draft. At the very bottom of the tracker display (web page) a detailed log of all
actions related to this submission is available.
You may also wish to alert your colleagues that the draft has been submitted, and from their GridForge accounts they may wish to monitor this item in
order to receive email any time action is taken regarding this submission.
Informational and Experimental drafts are reviewed by the GGF Editor and one
or more Area Directors. The GGF Editor will determine whether the draft is
ready for public comment, or if there are items for the author(s) to address
prior to public comment. This initial review generally takes no more than two
weeks.
Community Practice and Recommendations Track drafts require a GFSG review
prior to public comment. This can add 2-3 weeks to the initial GGF Editor
review depending on current workload of the GFSG.
Please do not hesitate to inquire about the status of your submission at any time by way of comments added to this tracker item, which will be
automatically emailed to the individual who appears in the "assigned to" field.
Thanks very much-
GGF Editor
