Description:	Each entry of WS-Directory has entry-name (string) and entry-reference (EPR). How to identify a service that is referenced by the entry-reference? At least, we would like to identify a referral (EPR to a WS-Directory), a logical reference (EPR to a resolver service), or an endpoint reference (EPR to any endpoint reference service). These entries are quite typical cases in Grid file system. Otherwise, there is no way to interpret the entry-referene by a client..

Comment:

I was under the impression that security (including ACL) were out of scope for this group.  We don't want to be creating a method of ACL that is 
unique to WS-Directory.  Rather, whatever ACL (and other security) mechanism GGF/OGSA decides to endorse should apply WOLG here.
