Dave Snelling suggested that the functionallity of WS-Directory is identical to that of Service groups and should be 
implemented thusly, at least for the WSRF rendering..

In fact, it is true that WS-Directory can be completely implemented by Service Group functionallity with certain assertions about content.  However, 
having just looked at the lastest draft of Service Groups (9 January 2006), the spec is still kind of complicated.  That may not be so much of an 
issue, but combined with the discussions lately about the HP/IBM/Intel/Microsoft whitepaper, "Toward converging Web service standards for resources, 
events, and management", and the seemingly inevitable demise of WSRF, no matter how distant, it seems foolish to over complicate the simplicity of WS-
Directory when that very same simplicity is part of what has gotten so many parties interested in it.  As such, for the moment, I am against this 
change.
