INFOD telcon minutes 6 Aug 2004

Attendees: Susan Malaika, Chris Kanterjiev, Steve Fisher, Vijay Dialani, Abdeslem Djaoui, and Dieter Gawlick

Points of discussion:

    * Use cases - Stave and Susan and still working on the document and intend to have a first draft for the next 
regular conference call
    * Specification - Chris has started to specify the proposed functions using XML. Chris intends to have a first draft
 for the next regular conference call
    * Relation to OGSA - it is important for member of the INFOD community to be informed about the current thinking in 
OGSA as far as it is relevant to INFOD. A special conference call should be scheduled to provide this information.
    * Relation to WS-Notification - same as for OGSA
    * Planning for GGF 12. Two session have already been scheduled - thank you Susan - one covering Use Cases and 
Specification, the other covering Information Dissemination Relationships (DAIS, OGSA, WSN). It was recommended to 
schedule a F2F meeting for detailed reviews of the documents,

Action items:

    * Susan: Schedule a third and extended session at GGF 12 for Thursday morning
    * Susan: Invite representatives from the OGSA and WSN communities to discuss the current state of their work as far 
as it is relevant to INFOD.
