20 Aug 2004 notes

Attendees: Vijay Dialani,  Dieter Gawlick , Vitthal Gogate (Suhas), Chris Kantarjiev, Cecile Madsen, Inderpal Narang
Apologies: Abdeslem Djaoui and Steve Fisher

During the call we went over definitions of replication and caching for the OGSA Data Design Group. Then we went over  
Vijay's document on sourceforge (which needs unlocking as the poor document keeps bleating at us :-)!)

Actions:
- All: to provide comments to Chris Kantarjiev on the specification and on the XML he added  
- Vijay: to post the unresolved points raised on his document to the mailing list so they can be resolved there. Other 
points were raised which will go directly into the document, e.g.,    

          o Terminology (use of term artifact, relationship with DAIS terminology)
          o Inderpal made comment on section 1.4

- Chris and Cecile: to work on definitions for the basic constructs of INFOD, e.g., subscription, publication etc, as a 
lot of discussion on the call was related to some fuzziness in those areas - The WSN white paper could be consulted

          o Publish-Subscribe Notification for Web services, Version 1.0 dated 03/05/2004
