Minutes 03 Feb 2005

Attendees: Dieter Gawlick, Abdeslem Djaoui, Susan Malaika,
Chris Kantarjiev, Cecile Madsen (minutes)

* Reviewed draft 1.2 of specifications
* review of terminology/typos
* differentiation data source publisher functions over wsn
precondition filters: normalization filters, temporal queries;
differentiation between event publishers and message publishers;
composed events brought up but discussion delayed to later
* debate about infod registry functions and the scope of evaluate
operation (are these operations on metadata or data) - ddl
terminology appropriate if on metadata only - more investigation
needed

* to dos by next infod call:
* Dieter, Cecile: 2nd pass at the modeling of infod interfaces, in particular
relationship between broker and registry and where operations belong;
differentiating between roles and interfaces; evaluate functions scoping
* Abdeslem, Steve: Glossary - taking in what's appropriate from use case
document
* Susan: use case scenario - definition of general scenarios

* Send updates to the specs doc to Cecile who will coordinate consolidation and
will send revised draft by Wed Feb 9nd noon for Thursday infod call review
