Minutes 17 Feb 2005

Attendees: Dieter Gawlick, Steve Fisher, Vijay Dialani, Chris Kantarjiev, Susan Malaika, Cecile Madsen (minutes)

Minutes:

* Reviewed draft 1.3 - preparation for publishing specs on 02/18 -
make only minor changes until then, as follows:
* proposal to rename producer role to disseminator role but only
in pictures - have disclaimer that text will not match
* local vs remote 'disseminator's: need to allow 'propagation' of data
between (remote) disseminator and local disseminator so that
consumers can pull the data locally (and optionally not be a ws);
so proposal to add propagator interface to disseminator role - this
is done in picture only for now.

* to-dos:
* specs 1st draft to be published on gridforge on 02/18
* will have only 1 planned update of that draft for minor changes on 03/04
* use case scenario work to be based on the 02/18 version of the specs

* next call: 9AM Thur Feb 24th
