Text for Section 8
The Open Middleware Infrastructure Institute (OMII), located at the University of Southampton, is funded by the UK e-
Science Core programme.
Its open source distribution of web services comprises services that are
implementing GGF and OGSA based standards - such as DAIS within the
OGSA-DAI project, and JSDL and BES within the GridSAM projects - both
funded through OMII's managed programme.
