Notes

• Aaron gives summary of where we are. Way to describe the syntax of the circuit so far. Architecture includes how clients will find things (e.g. LS interactions, TS stuff).
• We need to nail down the specifics of the LS interactions. How the measurement archives will make the data available - so they can be discovered.
• Development - short term goal is agent that will talk to OSCARS. Kick off monitoring. Find stuff - client will be able to find things, contact something like an SNMP MA to get things like operational status/utilization. After that - write a web GUI to talk to OSCARS to populate a site w/ current/past circuits.
• Jason - Web GUI Like ION? Aaron: Not really - single domain for ION, may use some of the same stuff.
• Roman - talks about the two proposals to circuit monitoring. Fetching data from pS about the circuits. Descriptors seems to be done at this point (GLIF format). Need to decide on a schema version, seems to be happening. Are we agreed/stable enough to start moving?
• Should we/nml prepare a schema? Question to Freek. Freek wants Roman to make a summary of the discussion, and then start work on the schema. Should not take the approach of telling NML "Here is what we do, now use it". Give reasons why it works.
• Freek wants to see running code - it means progress.
• Freek mentions domain discussions in the context of what we did, as well as serial compound. Uses relationships and such (e.g. 'over', via IDs). Freek doens't like the name 'over', others don't like calling it 'serial-compound'. Will need to find something that works.
• Martin has a model that does monitoring, demoed at SC10. Pretty much does all of this - could there be reuse. Should share the schemas/data he has.
• Roman and Aaron to start things. come to consensus. Martin wants to be involved, must send things fast.
• Meet again in 4 weeks (March 31st) .
