ldapsearch -x -h gin-bdii.cern.ch -p 2170 -b o=grid

To get a list of sites, you can use the following command.

ldapsearch -LLL -x -h gin-bdii.cern.ch -p 2170 -b o=grid GlueSiteName=* | grep GlueSiteName

This BDII currently contains information from EGEE, OSG, NDGF and Teragrid. We are working to include sites from Naregi and Pragma.

One information provider was created for each grid infrastructure. Each information provider queries the information system of the Grid infrastructure and manipulates the data so that it can be inserted into the BDII.

The information provider for NDGF and Teragrid were developed by Martin Flechl from Uppsala University, Sweden. The information provider for Naregi was developed by Hitoshi Sato from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan.

EGEE, OSG and Teragrid all use the Glue schema. For the other grids it was necessary translate between the different schema. The translation between the nordugrid schema and the glue schema is described in the arc infosys document. The translation between the CIM schema with the Naregi vendor extension is described in the Glue to Naregi mapping document.

The following two queries can be used to extract the entries for the respective Grids.

ldapsearch -x -h gin-bdii -p 2170 -b o=grid GlueSiteOtherInfo=Middleware=*

Replace * with the Grid Name.
