Concall on collaboration with SNIA

There will be a collaborate concall on May 13th between OCCI and SNIA. Both parties will shortly present what they are doing. After that there will be an open discussion about collaboration and more.

Use Cases and Requirements discussion

Up to know there are about ~10 use cases available. To move forward we need to get the requirements extracted. Therefor we like to trigger a discussion about Requirements. ElasticHosts will provide some basic ideas and thoughts which we can use as a starting point.

API discussion

Currently the discussion stalled a little bit. Current working topics involve the state model and nouns/verbs/attributes. To get the discussion back to the mailing-list we would like to summarize the status and look if all people agree. Especially important to get all Cloud provider aboard (GoGrid, ElasticHosts, Sun).

Action Items

• Prepare some slides about OCCI
• Trigger Processes on requirements gathering.
• Mail to mailing list about the status of the API and to find a consensus of the nouns and verbs discussion.
